    Weinbeschreibung

Herbal dark fruit with spicy tobacco.

The wine from Painted Rock presents itself in deep ruby red, sparkles in the glass and promises an intense taste experience.

A seductive bouquet of smoke, basil, vanilla, chocolate and coffee envelops the senses and hints at a complex palette of aromas.

On the palate, a powerful, full-bodied experience unfolds with firm tannins, lively acidity and notes of dark fruits, spices, chocolate and tobacco.

This wine is characterized by careful aging, which guarantees deep complexity and longevity. The grapes come from the Skaha Bench in Canada, and the vinification is carried out with the utmost precision. Why this wine is special: It embodies the essence of the Skaha Bench, combines tradition and innovation, and represents Painted Rock's passion for excellent winemaking.

    Painted Rock Estate Winery

Painted Rock is featured in the best wine clubs in London and is still an insider tip in the rest of Europe. That won't be the case for much longer!

No matter which aspect of winemaking one picks out or which external factor one considers, John Skinner uncompromisingly implements his plan for the best possible wine quality with Painted Rock. No detail is overlooked. For example, the valuable soil of the existing peach orchard was not bulldozed away, but each tree stump was individually removed before vines were planted. And the Syrah was planted where a cool airflow through a small gorge creates the perfect microclimate. The list of examples is endless.
