    The Mazoyères Chambertin Grand Cru 2022 presents itself in a vibrant ruby red, seductive and clear, testifying to its noble origins in the vineyards of Gevrey-Chambertin.

    Its bouquet reveals a fascinating variety – notes of juicy strawberries, delicate apples, lavender, rose petals and a hint of toasted oak.

    On the palate, a full, elegant taste unfolds with fruity nuances, berries, light spiciness, chocolate, chives and undergrowth, rounded off by a creamy texture.

    Carefully developed, this Grand Cru impresses with its ripe fruit, fine-grained tannins and a remarkably long finish that promises enjoyment at the highest level.

    Domaine Taupenot - Merme

    Virginie and Romain have revived a sleeping giant.

    The siblings Virginie and Romain Taupenot cultivate over 13 hectares with 19 appellations from Auxey-Duressees in the south to Gevrey-Chambertin in the north of the Côte d'Or, producing a range that is as diverse as it is qualitatively homogeneous. Since the beginning of the millennium, organic farming without labels has revived a wine region that was born in 1974 from the union of the two owner families and that has since then awaited the passionate commitment of the current generation of owners to revive the full potential of the highly sought-after plots, in particular Mazoyères-Chambertin and Charmes Chambertin in the Grand Cru.
