wine description

Fresh strawberry with subtle cedar vanilla.

The ruby red of the wine shimmers clearly and intensely, interspersed with elegant garnet-red reflections. In the glass, fine, church windows slowly develop, suggesting a velvety, complex texture - a visual delight for connoisseurs.

A rich palette of aromas unfolds on the nose: fresh strawberries and cherries, paired with earthy accents. Subtle notes of vanilla and cedar as well as fine hints of thyme and liquorice emphasize the complexity of the bouquet.

On the palate, the wine reveals a creamy, silky structure. The fruity aromas of red berries mix with light spicy tones. A gentle acidity and delicate tannins give it elegance and finesse, with a long, harmonious finish.

Made from Pinot Noir grapes and traditionally aged in oak barrels, this wine combines the quintessence of the Côte de Nuits terroir. Biodynamic cultivation and selective hand-picking bring out the natural, earthy notes of this exceptional Burgundy.

The Domaine de l'Arlot is located in the heart of Burgundy and is known for its biodynamic cultivation methods. Based in the Côte de Nuits since the 18th century, the winery produces characterful, terroir-focused wines that reflect the potential of this unique region.
