On the nose we encounter the sour tartness of freshly torn lemon peel, pear, and slightly bruised apples. Ripe pineapple and baked apple rings combine with lemon balm and sage. A hint of quince peel and gooseberry joins in subliminally. On the palate the wine is incredibly juicy and balanced. It brings a lot of aroma into the glass and impresses with a fine acid structure. This ensures a nice drinking flow. The fine minerality brings a good portion of freshness into play. Since the wine is unfiltered, it brings a richer fullness and has a so-called umami character. Litchis is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
