R. Gerbaux
This family leaves an imprint.
With a deep connection to the region's terroir and a passion for craftsmanship, the Gerbaux family has been creating elegant and expressive champagnes that reflect the essence of Champagne for over 100 years.

The essence of Champagne: tradition and passion at the Champagne R. Gerbaux winery.
In 1920, the Champagne R. Gerbaux winery was founded by Raymond Gerbaux. After an initial focus on grape cultivation, the focus shifted to producing their own champagne after the Second World War. The family business is now in the hands of Raymond's great-granddaughter. Juliette and her husband Pieter are steering the winery into a sustainable future (HVE certificate) and building on the impressive history of the champagne family. With 13 hectares of vineyards in the far east of Champagne - the first champagne winery to come from Germany - and a close relationship with the terroir, they produce exquisite champagnes that are characterized by the finesse and elegance of the region. As a family business, they attach great importance to tradition and craftsmanship, combining modern oenological techniques with their deep knowledge of the terroir.
Reasonable & Recoltant-manipulant
As a récoltant-manipulant winegrower, the family is very aware of its responsibility towards the environment and nature. The aim is always to ensure that the terroir of the vineyards shines in the glass. This would be compromised by overzealous fertilization, weed control and the use of insecticides. For this reason, only a reasonable dose is used in the vineyard to keep the winery competitive, with the highest quality and a claim to manual labor.
All these practices have earned the winery the HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) certification, which distinguishes it in terms of sustainability.
Honesty and sincerity - The essence of R. Gerbaux.
R. Gerbaux is characterized by its honest and sincere efforts. They value transparency and openness both in their production methods and in their relationship with their customers. With great care and integrity, they create champagnes of the highest quality that reflect the passion and commitment of the winemaking family. Each bottle is the result of an authentic connection to the terroir and a deep appreciation for the tradition of champagne making.
You can get particularly transparent insights during a winery tour, which can be arranged daily by arrangement.
For a better future.
The Gerbaux family is actively involved in the community and is committed to a better future. They support local initiatives, promote educational projects and help to maintain the Champagne region as a place worth living in. Through social responsibility projects and charitable activities, they help to bring about positive changes in society and contribute to the sustainable development of the region.
"Even 100 years later, Raymond Gerbaux's fingerprint can still be seen on every bottle, in the family and in the entire Champagne region."

The birthplace of champagne.
