Bride Valley
The pearly shine of the British Isles.
Set amidst the picturesque hills of Dorset, Bride Valley Vineyard reveals a rich discovery: English sparkling wine with a terroir similar to that of Champagne. Wine legend Steven Spurrier and his wife Bella created a place where elegance and tradition resonate in every bubble of an exceptional wine.

Legendary champagne competition from across the English Channel.
Bride Valley Winery, founded by Steven Spurrier and his wife Bella in 1987, is a British winery that produces world-class sparkling wines and positions itself as a worthy competitor to Champagne. The unique chalky soils and similar climate to Champagne provide ideal conditions for growing classics. Steven Spurrier's impressive wine expertise and legacy, particularly his influence at the 1976 Judgment of Paris, shape Bride Valley wines. The 1976 Judgment of Paris was a historic blind tasting event in which Californian wines surprisingly outperformed prestigious French competitors, fundamentally changing the international recognition of Californian wines. This blind tasting was initiated by Steven Spurrier.
The tradition of quality and innovation continues, while Bride Valley, with its unique terroir conditions and wines full of character, has established itself firmly in the international wine world. After the death of Steven Spurrier, the company was taken over by his wife Bella. Together with a team of experts, the legendary Spurrier wines with and without bubbles are now grown on 10 hectares.
